A Message from Don Romeka CEO

 

2004 was a great year for IntelEvent in terms of new customers and product development and we are excited about the prospects of 2005.

 

In the past six months we have made some very significant enhancements to our software and there will be no slowing down with quite a few more coming this year. We will continue to make sure IntelEvent remains on the leading edge of development in regards to Event Management Software. IntelEvent is fast approaching 1,000 customers, and has a strong recurring revenue base.  Most importantly we only sell to event focused companies like your company.

 

IntelEvent prides itself by setting very clear expectations on what the software can and CAN’T do.  This is a long term relationship business, if it starts out with poor expectations it is destined to fail.  We are only as good as our customers using the software.  Hence, we sell the truth!

 

IntelEvent is extremely focused on the development of its partnerships.  We continue to re-invest in the advancement of your technology.  Our primary focus is based on the feedback from our Event customers.  In addition, we continue to grow within the market through trade show marketing, industry seminars, and our continued involvement with numerous event associations.  Again, our focus here is to maximize our benefit to you and your marketplace.

 

Our motto is TRUST, UNDERSTANDING, and TECHNOLOGY.  It starts with your relationship with your sales representative, then to your IntelEvent trainer, then to your IntelEvent technical support person, then to your IntelEvent product development person, and last but not least your relationship with me at IntelEvent.

Sales update from Andrew Ehler, Sales Manager

 

Team IntelEvent has had another extremely successful year!  IntelEvent’s sales team increased the company’s total sales by over 25% in 2004.  This success is a testament to the dedicated “customer-focused” team at IntelEvent and most importantly the current partners of IntelEvent whose excitement for the product has led to an abundance of customer referrals.  The year 2004 brought on two new members to the sales team.  Kelvin Smith and Greg Hixenbaugh are two proud members of the IntelEvent Family!  Kelvin and Greg bring their extensive software knowledge and high level of enthusiasm to our staff.   The sales team is focused on growing new partners that will maximize their revenue and increase their productivity using Express software.  The focus this year is to again increase our sales revenues by a minimum of 25%, and continue the success of  2004.

 

Customer Referral Program

 

We would like to thank all of our customers that have participated in IntelEvent’s Customer Referral Program (CRP).  Our customers earn $250 for each referral that leads to a new customer. This money can be applied against any IntelEvent product or service/support invoice. If you know of another company that could benefit from using our Express software, let us know and it could earn you $250 for every referral you provide. This is a great way to reduce your costs and contribute to the ever growing network of IntelEvent customers.

Development update from Norm Sutch, VP of Product Development

 

Our IntelEvent software has seen huge improvements during the past year.  We have made over 400 individual modifications during that period of time!  Our ability to advance the software so rapidly to meet the needs of our customers shows the skill and dedication of our development and support team.  What sets us apart from our competitors is our willingness to listen to the customer, and ability to follow through on their great ideas.

 

Some specific areas that have been improved in our software over the last year include:

  • Enhanced Multisession functionality - including ability to copy line items between Sessions.  This allows IntelEvent users to create intricate, professional quotes in a fraction of the normal time and still have all the inventory control issues on the back end covered.
  • Improved Multilocation functionality - including improvements to the inventory transfer module as well as extension of Multilocation capability to our Daybook and Management Information modules.
  • Core Functionality – we are always improving the core of our IntelEvent software whenever possible.  Some of the recent highlights include new options on how to reallocate inventory from Jobs when new inventory is added, or inventory is released from existing Jobs; and we have added mouse over help messages throughout the program as well as improved our documentation in general.
  • Expanded Reporting – including the ability to email various reports with one click of the mouse, a new manifest report which allows easy inclusion and reporting of gear within a case, many new Job and Invoice report templates to choose from, narrative invoice functionality, and the addition of a second separate terms and conditions area for maximum flexibility in presentation.
 
 

Customer Support & Training Update from Ron Johnson Customer Services Manager

 

IntelEvent’s approach to support is to provide outstanding training and support to make each install of our software 100% successful. Our staff understands the uniqueness of your business and helps each individual company implement the software based on their individual needs. We take great pride in providing our customers with a “security blanket” in terms of support.

 

In order to keep up with the sales team, IntelEvent’s customer support & training team brought on two new members as well. We are very excited to announce both Lisa Foster and Mimma Feledi as the newest additions to our customer support team.  Lisa comes to IntelEvent with years of experience in the party rental industry and as a past customer of IntelEvent. Mimma brings years of sales/support experience in the event management software industry. Welcome Lisa and Mimma!

 

Q1 2005 IntelEvent announcements

 

  • Lead trainer and implementation expert Laurie Tanner gave birth to a healthy baby boy “Gryphon” on November 29, 2004 and her 3 year anniversary was celebrated on April 7, 2005.
  • VP of Product Development Norm Sutch's 6 year anniversary with IntelEvent was celebrated on January 15, 2005.
  • IntelEvent's 7 year anniversary was celebrated on February 17, 2005.
  • Support & IT manager Devon Schroeder’s 4 year anniversary with IntelEvent was celebrated on March 1, 2005.
