Tempe, Arizona / June 14,
2007 – IntelEvent, the leading supplier of
software in the Event Resource and Supply Industry, announced
the signing of Spectrum AV of Denver Colorado. Spectrum AV has
been in business since 1982, offering a complete line of
audiovisual equipment and services. Services include rental,
staging, audiovisual production, equipment sales and
installation. Spectrum stocks over $5 Million of
state-of-the-art equipment at its 30,000 square foot Denver
warehouse. Spectrum is a leading supplier in the Denver
metropolitan area as well as a supplier of national show
staging and support services.
Bill MacDonald is
Spectrum’s General Manager. Spectrum has been running on a DOS
based program for many years. Spectrum was introduced to
IntelEvent Express approximately four years ago at the
Infocomm Trade Show.
Bill MacDonald was quoted, “We
chose IntelEvent over the competition because IntelEvent
offers a software solution that has a la carte components.
Other Software options included features that we did not have
a need for. IntelEvent configured a solution that is designed
for what we need today, thus we only pay for the components we
need today. In addition, IntelEvent has a very strong US based
Development team that will work with us to ensure that its
application interfaces with our Microsoft Dynamics Accounting
Software.”
Andrew Ehler, IntelEvent’s Vice President of
Sales added, “I have gotten to know Bill very well over the
years, and his business is committed to excellent service. We
are a perfect match because IntelEvent’s business model is
defined by its excellent customer service.”
Bill
MacDonald continued with, “We have a small window of
opportunity to change systems and IntelEvent has the team in
place to ensure that we ‘go live’ quickly. We have an assigned
trainer who comes from our industry and knows the extreme
details of operations like ours.”
When Bill was asked
what he expected the most from IntelEvent as it relates to
benefits to his growing operation, he said, “We see IntelEvent
impacting our bottom line the most in job costing and job
profitability analysis. Also, it’s ease of use, creating and
running reports, and inventory tracking.”
Andrew Ehler
also added, “The timing of this decision is perfect. Bill will
be able to meet with my team at Infocomm and design a very
efficient implementation plan specifically for Spectrum’s
business.”
IntelEvent will be hosting a group training session
for its customers at Infocomm 2007 in Anaheim, in addition
IntelEvent will have a private meeting room to meet with its
customers during the show to ensure the best communication
process for its clients.
